Wisdom circles

Why a circle?

The circle is one of the oldest and most powerful symbols. The world moves and is maintained in a circle; the sun and moon too. Even time has a circular nature with each day/year following the other. A circle has no beginning and no end, allowing energy to flow freely. African and Celtic traditions offer wonderful ways for people to use circles to communicate, reflect, heal and plan.

What is a wisdom circle?

Personal and communal wisdom extend beyond knowledge, information and intelligence. Wisdom circles are safe and honouring places where members witness, learn, support and inspire each other.

A Tamhnach wisdom circle invites the wisdom of participants into the circle, and just as in ancient traditions, the circle space holds the process of co-creation. It is in here that exceptional resourcefulness comes to life.
