come and rest in the calm of an oasis – and create a mandala...

A time to reflect and an opportunity to feed your soul.

Tamhnach Women's Journey - I am Balance
During the weekend of the 25th July the second wisdom circle of the Tamhnach Foundation's women's journey - Filling your cup - took place at Headfort School in Meath.
The creation of Tamhnach's women's wisdom circles follows many years of research and development by the facilitators. This experience combined with Ria and Grainne's passion for women culminated in the first women's journey: "Filling your cup". A typical journey will consist of a number of circles; each of the circles will be presented under a specific theme.
The Circle provided a safe, sacred space for the participants to be and explore.
Participants scored their circle experience as follows (detailed scores are attached at the end):
|
£ Quality of the approach and experience |
90% |
|
£ Contribution to your personal awareness and development |
85% |
|
£ Your interest to continue with the women's wisdom circles |
85% |
Participants responded:
The most exciting learning from the circle - 'the value of balance to my wellbeing. Subtle insights also come in between sessions, 'when not expected. I feel energized after all the shared learning!'
In search of our own Tamhnach
During the past couple of months we have been very busy looking at possible 'places' of quiet and council! Some of the places simply arrived on our way and others we found while travelling around the country. And of course, there is the someone who knows someone who knows someone....
We have met the most amazing people on this journey, seen the most amazing places and spent many a night reflecting on the pros and cons. Ultimately we know that we will know when the place is right.
At this stage we are looking at a 'permanent' interim haven with the possibility of growing into and settling in the place over time.
Hopefully we will be able to report back soon!
